I do not have a need for excessive money. While my bank account is precariously low and I've had to be bailed out by friends and family, I've found happiness in living with modest means, and as such the vast majority of the money I receive will be going towards projects which help make the world a better place.

For example, I believe that moving away from the prevailing atomistic individualist paradigm and living in intentional communities is one of the most effective ways to nourish ourselves and create a state of flourishing that humanity has never seen. If I ever receive any amount of money that would make creating such a community possible, that's what I would spend it on, allowing for hundreds and potentially thousands of people to thrive, and in that thriving those people would be able to devote much of their newfound time and energy towards helping everyone else thrive. I don't care about fame, or having $50,000 watches, or fancy sports cars, or designer clothes... none of that really matters to me. That's just stuff and it comes and it goes. What matters is the kind of person we are, the life we live, and the people we care about. We'll all die eventually — would you rather be remembered as the selfish billionaire who sat on his money while everyone else languished, or as the person who committed their life to uplifting those in need?

The answer is obvious to me. That is why all my money beyond a reasonable amount to allow my family to be comfortable and secure for the foreseeable future will be invested back into projects to push humanity forward. I invite you to screenshot this page, web archive it, whatever, and hold me to it. But you won't have to, because it is among my deepest desires — my only need for money is so that I can spend it helping others.

Financial support

The best way to support me financially is to subscribe to my blog or pay me through Venmo. I have considered Patreon and similar sites but they all take a cut, whereas if you subscribe here I will receive basically everything minus the baseline credit card transaction fees, and Venmo will take nothing if you send as a friend.

Social support

Another way to support me is by supporting my social media channels. You can do this simply by engaging with my content: watching, following, subscribing, commenting, etc. You can also help by sharing my content with your friends, for example, either by linking to a blog post or social media post you enjoy.

I don't use them all regularly, but I'm trying to be more active so I can reach more people, connect with more people, and share ideas worth spreading.
